Right of Withdrawal — European Union Customers Only

This policy applies exclusively to customers located within the European Union (EU). Customers based outside the EU are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

European Union right of withdrawal

EU customers may withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after delivery. After notifying Baliaric, the customer has a further 14 days to send the goods back. The customer pays the direct return shipping cost for a change-of-mind return when that obligation and an estimate for bulky goods were disclosed before purchase. Baliaric pays the return cost where the item is faulty, damaged in transit or materially different from the item ordered.

Please notify Baliaric before sending the goods. Use the original packaging where it is reasonably available and protect every component adequately for return transport. The absence of the original packaging does not by itself cancel the right of withdrawal. Where permitted by law, Baliaric may hold the customer responsible for documented loss in value or return-transit damage caused by handling beyond a necessary inspection or by inadequate protection.

We refund the product price and the cost of standard outbound delivery within 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent. We may deduct only a documented loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. There is no fixed outbound-shipping deduction, unpackaging percentage or restocking fee. Custom-made or clearly personalised products may be excluded where the legal exception applies. A standard pre-order is not excluded merely because it was sold before stock arrived. The request to report transit damage within 48 hours does not limit the legal guarantee for faulty goods.
